Co-leader: Mackenzie Woods and Lindsey Norman

Mackenzie Woods resides in Chicago and is the co-leader of the Project HEAL – Chicago Chapter.  Mackenzie is a public relations professional who works to secure earned media placements for her clients. As a Project HEAL Chapter Leader, Mackenzie is dedicated eliminating the stigmas around eating disorders and ensuring no one goes without the support they need to reach full recovery. Mackenzie is passionate about traveling, country music, Notre Dame football and all things Italy!

Mackenzie's favorite ice cream flavor is hazelnut gelato.

Co-leader: Lindsey Norman

Lindsey Norman resides in Chicago and is the co-leader of the Project HEAL - Chicago Chapter. Lindsey is an account manager who works with customers to help meet their IT needs. As a Project HEAL Chapter Leader, Lindsey is dedicated to raising awareness of Project Heal and the importance that the chapter holds. Lindsey is passionate about her family/friends, running, her career, and Project Heal!

Lindsey's favorite ice cream flavor is chocolate chip cookie dough.

Executive Board Member: Kelsey Hoeper

Kelsey Hoeper resides in Chicago, IL and is one of the Event Planners of the Project HEAL - Chicago Chapter. Kelsey is earning a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Roosevelt University. As a Project HEAL Chapter Event Planner, Kelsey is dedicated to spreading awareness and helping to strengthen a community of support and healing. She is passionate about volunteering, mental health advocacy, and working with children and adolescents.

Kelsey’s favorite ice cream flavor is cookies and cream.

Executive Board Member: EMMA

Emma resides in Chicago and is the Volunteer Coordinator of the Project HEAL - Chicago Chapter. Emma works in the food industry, sharing her deep, abiding love for cheese and wine with the masses (one of the many joys of her recovery). As a Project HEAL Chapter Volunteer Coordinator, Emma is dedicated to bringing together volunteers and individuals in recovery to build a community of support and healing, raising awareness, inspiring hope, and demonstrating that full recovery from eating disorders is possible. In her free time, Emma can be found reading, watching movies, and fawning obsessively over her dog Max.

Emma’s favorite ice cream flavor is Ben and Jerry’s Half Baked.

Executive Board Member: Ari Trejo

Ari Trejo resides in the suburbs of Chicago and is an Event Coordinator of the Project HEAL - Chicago Chapter. Ari is a human resources associate who works with each employee of her company to ensure they are being treated well and have all the benefits they qualify for. As a Project HEAL Chapter Event Coordinator, Ari is dedicated to not only plan events to raise funds for the organization, but also to raise awareness in her community, especially with those of her culture, about this illness that can affect anyone. She is passionate about traveling, enjoying time with friends, music, and baking.

Ari’s favorite ice cream flavor is stracciatella.
