Christina Carrad, LPC. LCAT. ATR-BC

Christina Carrad graduated Cum Laude from Montclair State University with a BA in Fine Arts and from New York University with a Master’s degree in Art Therapy. She is a licensed Creative Arts Therapist in NY, a Licensed Professional Counselor in NJ, and a nationally registered and board certified Art Therapist.

For the past fifteen years, she has treated clients with eating disorders and co-occurring disorders in partial hospital, inpatient, intensive outpatient, and outpatient treatment settings. Over the course of her seven years at an intensive psychiatric unit at Saint Clare’s Hospital in NJ, she gained invaluable experience diagnosing and treating a full range of psychiatric conditions.

In addition to her clinical work, Christina has designed, implemented, and run several successful treatment programs that are still flourishing today. She spent three years at Hospice, where she developed and ran several creative arts therapies bereavement programs for children, adolescents, and adults. She worked with Atlantic Health in NJ from the inception of their eating disorders program, assisting in its development and management.

Christina has also provided supervision of staff and students in a variety of treatment settings for over a decade. For more information, visit:
