It begins to replace relationships with the people you care about, and drains the joy out of the activities and pursuits you once loved. While reminding us that recovery is not without ebbs and flows, (a thought  I would argue needs to remain at the forefront of our minds, especially since people with eating disorders are susceptible to all-or-nothing thinking), blogger Ali Martin explains the importance of being honest so our "secrets don't keep us sick" and withdrawn from the people who matter most in our lives.
