Marti Noxon

Marti is a prolific writer-producer in television. She has several television series on the air including Bravo’s Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce, Lifetime’s UnREAL, and Code Black for CBS.  Her upcoming TV series include Sharp Objects for HBO and Dietland for AMC.

She made her feature directorial debut with the film To The Bone, which premiered on Netflix on July 14th. Written by Noxon and loosely based on her own personal experience with eating disorders, the film stars Lily Collins, Alex Sharp, Keanu Reeves and Carrie Preston.

Aside from writing, Marti focuses on bringing awareness to gun violence and working with the organization Everytown. Additionally, she is actively involved with Americares, a health focused relief and development organization that responds to people affected by poverty or disaster.

Marti holds a B.A in Theater Arts from The University of California, Santa Cruz. She resides in Los Angeles with her two children and is a co-owner of Grist & Toll, and urban flour mill located in Pasadena, CA.
