Nancy Mensch Turett

Nancy Mensch Turett is a recognized innovator in health engagement and leadership. She established her consultancy, WholeView, in 2013 to focus on holistic strategies that drive individual, enterprise and societal well-being now and for the future. WholeView clients and partners have included World Bank Group, United Nations, MDG Alliance, World Health Organization, Roll Back Malaria, We Own TV, CChange, Monte Nido eating disorders programs, Columbia Aging Center, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, Harvard University, The Rockefeller Foundation, Publicis, and Omnicom.

In two decades at Edelman, Nancy built the communications industry’s pace-setting global health practice, designing innovative health initiatives with colleagues, clients and partners across industries and sectors. She and her team created the Health Barometer, an annual study of the complex relationships that influential individuals have with health and the implications for business. Nancy was also Edelman’s founding leader of signal firm-wide initiatives that have become industry benchmarks, for thought leadership IP, global practice development, strategic programming, global citizenship, and service excellence. Her management responsibilities over the years included major operations in the US, Canada and Latin America.

Nancy’s previous employment includes Mount Sinai, University of Virginia Medical Center, and US Head Start. Nancy is a member of the Board of Overseers of the Columbia Mailman School of Public Health, where she serves on the Executive Committee, and Advisory Board Member to Project HEAL and the eating disorders community. Past board/committee work includes the World Economic Forum’s Global Education Initiative, American Diabetes Association, American Cancer Society, NYU’s Center for Aging and Dementia, Resolve Fertility Association, Project Heal, and Nancy’s alma mater, Princeton University. Nancy’s mission is to generate health.
