Leader: Cheryl Marron
Cheryl Marron is the leader of the Project HEAL chapter in Saratoga Springs NY. Cheryl is the mother of three boys, ages 20, 18 and 16 and one daughter aged 15. She works full time as a Medicaid Service Coordinator, working with Individuals with Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities. Cheryl is also a competitive swim coach, which she has done for over 26 years. Cheryl Holds a Master Degree in Counseling in Education from Canisius College.
As a Project HEAL Chapter Leader, Cheryl is dedicated to help advocate, educate, support and help fund treatment for individuals who are impacted by an eating disorder. Cheryl is very passionate about “finding balance and helping people in need”. Cheryl finds the Adirondacks as a therapeutic place in which people can clear the mind. On any given weekend she will be snowshoeing in the winter and hiking to a swim on one of the hundred’s of lakes in the Adirondacks. Cheryl is passionate about having fun, living life to the fullest, and has never been afraid to fail.
Cheryl’s favorite ice cream is Mint Chocolate Chip combined with Chocolate Peanut butter with sprinkles.
