Join the HEALers Circle

Thank you for your interest in joining the HEALers Circle to make treatment more accessible to all!

Due to staff transitions, we have temporarily paused new outpatient HEALers Circle applications until May 15, 2024. In the meantime, please fill out this form to join the waitlist so we can welcome you to the HEALers Circle as soon as possible!

If you are a treatment center interested in joining the HEALers Circle, please reach out to Rebecca Eyre directly. Thank you!

The HEALers Circle is comprised of outpatient providers and treatment centers who understand the many barriers that people with eating disorders face when they are finally ready to recover. These barriers include: expenses, inadequate insurance coverage (including limited networks, unfair denials and premature discharges), racism, sexism, sizeism, ableism, ageism, heteronormativity, gender binaries, geographic location, and many more. With your help, we can help people recover who may otherwise never have the chance.

If you are an eating disorder treatment provider and you are committed to breaking down barriers to eating disorder recovery for people who our current system fails, please join us.

In exchange for the generosity of our HEALers Circle members, Project HEAL offers benefits and perks that function as cause marketing opportunities and referral source generation. Click below to learn more about the different HEALers Circle Tiers (i.e. your commitment level & associated benefits).

Project HEAL is building the nation’s largest network of eating disorder treatment specialists who are committed to equitable treatment access.

HOW IT WORKS

  • Project HEAL vets all applicants to determine true financial need (we review bank statements, tax returns, etc) and explore all other options for care (insurance plans, in- and out-of-network, etc). This ensures that everyone you treat through the HEALers Circle is truly in need, and takes the administrative lift off of you to verify that.

  • If someone reaches out to you who cannot afford care or whose insurance is not accepted, you can refer them to Project HEAL and we'll vet them for you to ensure that your limited charitable spots have maximum impact.

  • If someone applies for a grant who is in your geographic area, we will reach out to see if you have a spot available to treat them as part of your HEALers Circle agreement. You can do your own clinical assessment if there are any concerns about clinical appropriateness for your care.

  • Your commitment is limited to a specific number of Project HEAL beneficiaries in time-limited treatment grants, so your participation is fully voluntary, based on true need, and is a calculated donation of your time to maximize the benefit to the people who need it the most.
