InformED Clinical Training Program
Transform Your Approach to Mental Health Care
The InformED Clinical Training Program is an introductory, identity-affirming course designed to equip healthcare professionals with a health justice-based lens through which to understand a broad spectrum of eating disorder presentations.
There is a widespread deficit of eating disorder specialists in the U.S., and an even larger deficit of specialists with marginalized identities. Because of this, most individuals will not be able to access appropriate, identity-affirming eating disorder care. InformED was created to fill this gap.
This training aims to bring intersectional, trauma-informed eating disorder knowledge to a broad range of healthcare settings and community groups. By reducing barriers to training and increasing the number of eating disorder-informed professionals and community leaders, more people will be able to find effective support.
Why InformED?
What You’ll Gain
The InformED Clinical Training Program is more than a course — it’s a pathway to creating meaningful change in the eating disorder care landscape. Participants will come away with a fundamental understanding of eating disorders, the systemic factors that influence eating disorder presentation, the greater structure of eating disorder care systems, and how these can differ across diverse communities.
Those who complete the full course will receive the following:
3 Continuing Education Credits (See full CE details below)
Certificate of Completion from Project HEAL
Access to Clinical Consult Groups for additional learning support and consultation (Transformation Package only)
Values-aligned recommendations for additional learning
